Rise and Shine: The Early Bird Gets the Roof
As an employee at Brothers Roofing and Construction, my day starts bright and early. By 6:30 AM, I’m already sipping my coffee and reviewing the day’s schedule. Today, we’re headed to Dublin, OH for a new roof installation.
On the Road
By 7:15 AM, our team is loaded up and on the way. We discuss the project details during the drive:
- Removing old shingles
- Inspecting and repairing the roof deck
- Installing new underlayment
- Applying high-quality shingles
Boots on the Ground (or Roof)
We arrive at the job site by 8:00 AM and start setting up. Safety is our top priority, so we ensure all equipment is properly secured before ascending the ladder. The homeowner greets us, excited about their upcoming roof transformation.

As the sun reaches its peak, so does our productivity. We’ve made significant headway on the new roof installation. Our team works like a well-oiled machine, each member focused on their specific tasks. The satisfaction of seeing the new roof take shape is unmatched.

On the drive back to our base in Columbus, OH, we discuss tomorrow’s agenda. We’ve got a roof remodeling project in Westerville and a couple of local roof repair jobs in Lewis Center. It’s been a productive day, and I’m already looking forward to the next.
